NOTE: Although we provide information and services intended for the benefit of children, only a person over the age of 13 years can himself or herself establish his or her own account at MyShapers, or make purchases from MyShapers. A parent can register an account for the benefit of his or her child(ren) under the age of 13 years, but (1) the parent must establish the account for his/her child(ren), verify the parent’s identity by use of a credit or debit card, give us the initial information as to the child, and consent to the child giving us further information; and (2) the parent will have access to all information provided to us by the child.

(2) Anonymous information that is automatically collected from your computer/browser, such as a computer’s Internet Protocol address, operating system, or general location such as zip code, to support internal operations so that we can understand and monitor the usage of our web site and improve its performance. When you visit our website, we may use cookies and similar technology to collect this anonymous information for the purpose of the internal operations of our website. (2) Information may be given to our third party service providers who maintain our website as necessary to maintain the site so it works as designed and/or limit access to our website, services or information to authorized uses, and information may be given to our third party Registered Dietician in order to provide information and services best tailored to your child. Our service providers will be given access to your information only as is reasonably necessary to provide the services for which they are contracted. (3) If you were referred to MyShapers by a third party, we may advise the third party of your enrollment for their information purposes, or if any referral fee is due the third party, but will only give them such information as is necessary for such purposes.

(4) We may access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to: (i) respond to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) or otherwise to take action because we believe it is required or advisable under the law; (ii) detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; (iii) respond to your requests for customer service; or (iv) limit our legal liability or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of ourselves, any user of our site, a third party or the general public including as part of investigations.

(5) Business Transfer. If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of MyShapers, or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your personal information, and any other information collected may be among the items sold or transferred. The buyer or transferee will be required to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

In no event do we provide information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

We do not honor “do not track” signals or related such mechanisms. We do not knowingly allow other parties to collect personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different websites sites when a consumer uses the our website, but make no representation as to whether other parties may be able to do so using available technology.

No Behavioral Advertising. There is no behavioral advertising on our website, which means that you will not see any advertising that is targeted to you or your child based on your combined activity on our website and your activity on other sites.


Our collection of personal information from children under 13 is intended to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), a U.S. law designed to protect the online privacy of children under the age of 13. We will obtain parental consent before receiving personal information from children under 13, unless the request for information falls within an exception that would be permitted under COPPA. We do not make personal information collected from children publicly available nor do we enable children to so on our website. We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated Privacy Policy online. We will not change how we handle previously collected information without providing notice and obtaining parental consent where necessary.


We strive to maintain the security of information but cannot guarantee that information security measures are fail-safe or guarantee that information on a website may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Our website maintains technical and organizational steps to keep information collected secure, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers and use of electronic security systems and password protections to guard against unauthorized access.
